SRK announced as DHFL's new brand ambassador

Housing finance company, DHFL on Thursday announced Bollywood celebrity Shah Rukh Khan as its Brand Ambassador.

This is the Company's first such brand association in its 30 year journey of providing financial access for home buying amongst Indian customers, the company said in a statement.

Shah Rukh Khan said, “It is an honour to be associated with DHFL. I truly believe that owning a home is the first step towards ensuring a secure and confident future for every family. I personally believe that DHFL's mission of enabling home ownership amongst every Indian is as relevant today, as it was 30 years ago when DHFL began operations. SRK crosses 10 Million Followers in Twitter

Shah Rukh Khan crossed 10 million followers on the social networking site (Twitter) today and his fans are planning to celebrate it in a huge manner. In terms of followers, SRK is just behind Amitabh Bachchan who has a huge 11.5 million fan followers all over the globe. But Shah Rukh has raced ahead of his other contemporaries, the other Khans- Salman and Aamir. While Salman has around 9.17 million followers, Aamir has 9.57 million followers on Twitter.

SRK & Salman Khan bless Arpita Khan on her sangeet ceremony

Salman Khan's sister, Arpita, who is all set to tie the knot with Aayush Sharma on Tuesday, had none other than Shah Rukh Khan drop by at her residence on Sunday to bless her on her sangeet function.
The sangeet ceremony was held at Galaxy Apartments, Bandra and was attended by many Bollywood celebrities.
Shah Rukh Khan had earlier said that he would attend Arpita's wedding, and that an invite was not necessary as she is like his own sister.
